MUMBA KASONDE
Mumba Kasonde is a Science teacher and has specialised in Chemistry and Biology. During his 7 years of teaching experience, he spent two years teaching Daisy Katongo.


As a dedicated and passionate science educator with seven years of experience, he has developed strong expertise in teaching Chemistry and Biology. His enthusiasm for the subjects is contagious, and he strives to create an engaging and interactive learning environment that fosters academic excellence and curiosity.
His love for science began in high school, where he actively participated in Science Competitions such as the Junior Engineering Technical Society (JETS) competitions. He was particularly drawn to Chemistry, and his hard work paid off when he was recognized as the best Chemistry student at his school.
As his academic and professional journey progressed, his love for science grew even stronger. He pursued further studies in science and eventually became a science teacher, driven by a desire to inspire and motivate the next generation of scientists and thinkers.
Among his professional achievements, he was awarded "Most Resourceful Teacher" while working at Rhodes Park School in Lusaka in 2020, and "Most Innovative Teacher" while at Ashford Academy in 2022.
His advice to young people in STEM: stay curious, keep learning, and never stop asking questions. Science is all around you, and your ideas matter. With creativity, persistence, and passion, you can help solve real-world challenges and shape a better, brighter future for everyone.
