Wazingwa Mugala is a passionate and high-achieving Computer Engineering student at the Copperbelt University, Zambia. Known for academic excellence, Wazingwa has consistently ranked as the best-performing student throughout his academic journey.


Wazingwa's deep curiosity and love for technology have driven him to work on numerous innovative projects in the fields of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML), ranging from real-time facial recognition systems to AI-powered healthcare prediction models and intelligent driver safety solutions.
Wazingwa has had the privilege of participating in various national and institutional competitions, earning recognition for his forward-thinking ideas and technical prowess. Most notably, he is a finalist in the prestigious 2025 ZICTA Innovation Program, a platform that celebrates emerging tech talent and groundbreaking solutions across Zambia.
His work goes beyond academics - Wazingwa is also committed to using technology to solve real-world problems. His projects demonstrate not only technical skill but also a strong sense of purpose and social responsibility.
