MALCOM KAZIMIL
Malcom Kazimil is an award-winning Electrical and Electronic Engineering student at the University of Bristol, UK, driven by a passion for innovation, sustainability, and access to opportunity. Originally from Tanzania, Malcom’s journey reflects the power of perseverance, community, and purpose.


As a former Tanzanian national athlete, Robogals President, and Chief Senior Resident, Malcom balances leadership with service dedicated to making STEM more inclusive, practical, and inspiring. He has interned with Vodacom Tanzania and led technical projects focused on autonomous driving systems and network optimization. He is also a Bristol SU 50 Most Influential honoree, recognized for his impact across education, advocacy, and outreach.
Malcom’s work spans tutoring, event coordination, and leading student societies like the Black in STEM Network, where he helps underrepresented students find belonging and success. He has co-led outreach programs impacting over 100,000 students across Tanzania, notably through Twende Butiama and the Golden Summer Family, an initiative supporting children with cancer in rural areas.
